These are Authentic Mitec switches.  There is at least 1 clone out there claiming to be a Mitec and selling for less than actual cost.  Other clones at least are claiming Mitec-like.  Don't be fooled and know what you are buying.

Super Low Profile 'Clicky' push button switch.  Flat and flush button, Stainless steel body. Clicky and responsive.  This is the Ultimate switch.

Available in 12mm or 16mm. Both are shockingly compact.

The 12mm switch has:
 - 16mm diameter face plate
 - 9mm diameter push button
 - Face plate is 1.6mm thick - thats how far out it sticks on the front of your box!
 - Total length is 10mm - not counting the contact legs which can be trimmed to suit
 - Requires a 12mm panel cut-out.

The 16mm switch has:
 - 20mm diameter face plate
 - 11mm diameter push button
 - Face plate is 1.6mm thick - thats how far out it sticks on the front of your box!
 - Total length is 10mm - not counting the contact legs which can be trimmed to suit
 - Requires a 16mm panel cut-out.

Great!
These switches fill every need that I have in a switch: small mounting hole, low profile, and satisfying positive feedback when activated. They are out of stock at the time of this review. Varitube, please keep them in stock... We will keep buying them!

Ultimate switch
Ultimate switch is correct! these are so sweet - great quality and feel. I just hope that VariTube will start carrying the convex model.

Very low quality switch.
Bought this because it was so compact, fit the tiny box I was making but there are ALWAYS trade offs. Initial impressions were great, it was tiny and had an amazing tactile push. Two stars because it did last a month. The button isn't very durable. Under normal use it eventually got to where it wont actuate anymore. It's gotten progressively worse. Last night I was using a screw driver to mash it because I was too tired to solder a new one. Replaced with the larger 16mm switch similar to the other one sold around here. Bottom line, make the room for a decent switch sturdy enough to handle repeated use. I found that a lot of switches are designed for the occasional push, not the constant use like a vaporizer requires. Either get ready to replace this eventually, depending on use and abuse or just get a decent switch from the start.

Nice clicky button
Not much compares to the click of Mitec button and these are pretty cheap.

Excellent quality switches. Very hard to overheat while soldering and long lasting with proper installation.

nice button but didnt last one push
I soldered in the button the same way i always do with other brand buttons so i screwed on my atty and threw in a battery and when i fired it the button immediately caved in and fired without me pressing the button. after i pulled the button out it had a rattle along with a burnt plastic smell so it didn't last two seconds. It may have been my fault as i put an atty with a .09 ohm build in it but all the other buttons I've used were able to handle the same build. From Varitube: The melted switch is an indication you ran current through the switch. It cannot be used in a direct mechanical power connection. They are only rated for 50mA of current. If it was in mosfet arrangement you have to check your circuit to make sure no power is running through the switch. Your atomizer build has no affect on the switch if its used in a regulated chip or mosfet box
